On the 27th of March picking began with our Sauvignon Blanc with absolute wonderful weather.
Grapes had reached a wonderful ripeness level with potential Alkohol of 12,5 % vol.
To have good clean fruit it was picked by hand.
Meanwhile after cold settling and racking off from turbids, yeast has been added an the juice is commencing the fermentation.
A first comment from Markus about the very very young wine: “Berry flavour, Gooseberry flavour… sweet, very sweet but good Aromas”
I would say “Very intense Gooseberry flavors with a hint of lemon gras, great taste on the palate with tropical fruit and a very cremy texture. The aromas stay in your mouth for minutes!!!
